You will receive standard heat shrink sleeves that fit a sleek or regular 12oz can size. There are several ways to apply the sleeve, and there are many tutorials online showing the best outcome. The best method is a hot water bath, we will provide you the hook and string with your order. It provides the most consistent look, because the heat is evenly applied around the can at the same time.

It is critical that you hold the sleeve to the very top edge of the can while lowering into the water, otherwise it will slip off. It is also critical that you lower the can PERPENDICULAR to the water, to evenly apply heat to equal sides of the can.

A commercial heat gun or pouring hot water over them will work too, however expect inconsistent results, wrinkles, and tearing.

Heat gun application can often produced Wrinkled results. From a distance, these are not noticeable, we recommend you just go with it.

Edge-Folded results are from uneven heating around the can. The sleeve shrinks best when a consistent heat is applied to all sides of the can at once. This happens when you heat one side faster than the other. This is why we like the hot water bath method, when submerged evenly the results are perfect. Again, from a distance, these are not noticeable, and if not severe, it will stay on the can firmly.
